Alexandra Morgan Carrasco is an American professional soccer player. She plays as captain and striker for San Diego Wave FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), the highest division of women's professional soccer in the United States, and the United States women's national soccer team.She co-captained the United States women's national soccer team along with Carli Lloyd and Megan Rapinoe from 2018 to 2020. [8][98][9] Morgan was drafted by the Western New York Flash at the top of the list in the 2011 WPS Draft. She had completed her studies at Berkeley in the early part of the year. Morgan also played for California Golden Bears. There, she made her professional debut and played in the team's win of the league title. Morgan was then just 22 years old. young, was the youngest national player at the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011 in which she finished second.
